I’m an educator, nonprofit leader, grant writer, and the parent of a recent high school graduate. I have spent nearly a decade teaching college freshmen, and I love working with students at this stage of life.

I started The Belonging Project after helping my own daughter through the college admissions process. I saw how quickly an exciting milestone could become stressful for the whole family, often because the guidance focused more on getting accepted than finding the right place to thrive.

For more than 15 years, I have also written hundreds of successful grants. Grant writing and college applications have a lot in common. Both require you to understand your audience, answer the question being asked, and tell a clear, honest story about your strengths and goals.

I bring all of that experience to helping students find their voice, understand their options, and choose a college where they can truly belong.
